FreeSingapore has already published its 2027 rules. If you are reading this in late 2026 you will apply under one set of salary floors and renew under a higher one, so every number on this page comes in two columns. Plan against the right one.
The thing to understand before anything else
An Employment Pass is decided in two stages. Stage one is the qualifying salary for your age and sector. Clear that and you are not approved, you are merely eligible. Stage two is COMPASS, a 40 point test in which half the foundational score is about your employer rather than about you.
