Terms & Conditions

Platform means the EDZER Resume Studio website, applications, builder, ATS checker, and related tools and services. Services means the features we make available, including the do-it-yourself resume and cover-letter builder, AI generation and tailoring, the ATS score check, and any professional (done-for-you) writing or career services you purchase. Content means text, files, documents and other materials. User Content means Content you provide, create or upload. Account means your registered profile on the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the platform under the supervision of a parent or guardian, and be capable of forming a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information, to keep it updated, and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your Account. One person may hold one Account; you may not share, sell or transfer your Account, and you may not create an Account for another person without their permission. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend or terminate Accounts at our discretion, including where these Terms are breached.

The platform lets you build, edit, score and export resumes and cover letters, and, where purchased, receive professional writing and career services. Free features are provided on an as-available basis. Paid features are governed by the plan you select and by these Terms. We may add, change, limit or discontinue features at any time. For professional (done-for-you) services, additional service-specific terms, timelines and deliverables apply and are shared with you at the time of purchase.

You agree to use the platform lawfully and only for its intended purpose. You must not, and must not attempt to: copy, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the platform or its output beyond your own personal use; access the platform through automated means, scrape, or generate content at a scale or in a pattern that is abusive or that circumvents usage limits; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our source code, prompts, scoring logic, templates or methodology; probe, attack, or interfere with the security or integrity of the platform; upload unlawful, infringing, misleading or harmful content, or content that is not yours to use; or use the platform to build resumes containing false or fraudulent information. We may investigate suspected misuse, flag or restrict Accounts, and take action to protect the platform and other users.

Personal plans, credit packs and Unlimited Passes are licensed for a single individual’s personal use only. They may not be used to provide resume-writing, career or any other services to third parties, to run a business, agency, placement cell or reseller operation, or to generate resumes for other people on a commercial or bulk basis. Using a personal plan or Unlimited Pass for business purposes, or sharing one across multiple people, is a breach of these Terms and may result in the Account being flagged, rate-limited, suspended or terminated without refund. Businesses, agencies, colleges and placement cells should instead use our bulk credits or team plans, which are licensed and priced for that use — contact us for details.

The platform, including its software, design, layout, templates, brand, scoring engine, AI prompts and methodology, and all related intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to EDZER Education Private Limited and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the platform for your own resume and career needs. No other rights are granted. Trademarks and logos shown on the platform remain the property of their respective owners. Unauthorized use of our materials may result in civil and criminal liability.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Services to you (for example, to generate, score, save and export your resume). You represent that you have the rights to the Content you provide and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. You are responsible for the accuracy of your Content, and you agree to review any AI-generated output before relying on it.

The platform is a tool to help you present your experience well. We do not guarantee any particular result, including any job, interview, shortlisting, ATS score on external systems, or hiring outcome. ATS scores shown on the platform are produced by our own engine and are indicative; other systems may read a document differently. AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for verifying it.

Paid credit packs, Unlimited Passes and other paid features are billed in US dollars (USD) at the prices shown at the time of purchase, plus applicable taxes (such as GST). By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method. Prices, plans and features may change; changes apply to future purchases. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refunds and Cancellations Policy. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase where required by law.

Unlimited Passes provide unlimited AI generations for a fixed period (for example one week or one month) for one individual’s personal use. They are one-time purchases, do not auto-renew, and access ends automatically when the period lapses. “Unlimited” is subject to the acceptable-use restrictions above, including the prohibition on business, reseller and bulk use, and to reasonable measures we may take to prevent fraud or abuse.

Student discount: we offer a discount (currently up to 50%) to verified students. To qualify you must submit a genuine, current college or university ID for manual verification; we may approve, decline or later revoke a discount at our discretion, including where an ID appears invalid or where the discount is misused. The student discount is for the verified individual’s personal use only and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so. Submitting false information to obtain a discount is a breach of these Terms.

We use trusted third parties to operate the platform, including a payment processor (Razorpay), authentication and cloud providers, and an AI provider. Your use of features that rely on these providers may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services, and we encourage you to review their terms where relevant.

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or where we are required to do so by law, or to protect the platform, our users or third parties. On termination, your licence to use the platform ends and you must stop using it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) will continue to apply. Termination for breach does not entitle you to a refund.

The platform and Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any content or score is accurate or suitable for your purpose. Your use of the platform is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EDZER Education Private Limited and its directors, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the platform will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EDZER Education Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or connected with your use of the platform, your Content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

We may modify the platform and these Terms from time to time. When we change these Terms, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date, and the changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the platform after that means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the platform.

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or to your use of the platform, are governed by the laws of India. You agree that the courts at New Delhi, India will have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to first contact us so we can try to resolve the matter.
