Privacy Policy

We collect only what the service needs. This includes: account details you provide (such as your name, email address and, if you add it, phone number); the content you create or upload (resume and cover-letter details, uploaded documents, and the information you type into the builder); billing details required for payments and tax invoices; and usage and device information (such as pages visited, features used, approximate location derived from your IP, and basic diagnostics) that help us run and improve the platform.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data beyond what you choose to place in your resume. Please do not include information you do not want processed for the purpose of building your resume.

We process your data to provide and operate the platform (to build, score, store and export your resumes and cover letters, run the ATS check, and deliver any service you purchase); to process payments and issue GST-compliant invoices; to communicate with you about your account, purchases and support requests; to maintain security, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce our terms; and to understand usage so we can improve features and build new services. We rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and compliance with law as the bases for this processing.

When you use the AI features, the details you provide are sent to our AI service provider to generate and refine your resume or cover letter. Your content is used to produce your output. We do not permit your personal content to be used to train third-party public models without your consent. AI-generated drafts can occasionally contain errors, so you are responsible for reviewing your resume before you rely on it or send it to an employer.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share data only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, strictly to run the platform. These include our cloud database and hosting provider, our payment processor (Razorpay, for payments and invoicing), our authentication provider (for sign-in), our AI provider (for generating your resume), and communication or analytics tools. We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

Your data is stored in a managed database hosted in India, encrypted in transit and at rest. Files such as resume PDFs are kept in private storage and served only through short-lived, signed links. Some of our service providers may process limited data outside India; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to be protected to a comparable standard.

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your full card or bank details. We retain only the transaction record needed to provide your plan and to issue a tax invoice, as required under applicable law.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate the builder. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect how the platform works.

We keep your personal data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it. You may ask us to delete your account, as described below.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, and ask us to delete or anonymize your account. Account deletion runs with a short grace period and then removes your personal data, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, tax invoices) by law. We use access controls, encryption, audit logging of administrative actions, rate limiting, and regular backups to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.

The platform is intended for users who are 18 years or older, or who use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a manner that is not permitted by law. If you believe a child has provided us data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology or law. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on this page with a new date. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
